STUDIO PROBA
Founded in 2013 by Alex Proba, Studio Proba is a New York-based multidisciplinary design studio focused on graphic, environmental, and furniture design as well as artwork. Collaborative projects include prismatic wallpaper for Texturae, collage work for Loeffler Randall, and a limited-edition furniture collection with Bower, while her recent solo work includes large-scale in situ painted murals across the United States, as well as her own collection of rugs and ceramics. Layers of geometry, shape, and color combine to push and pull in the optically nervy and always seductive and alluring patterning of Proba’s abstract compositions, including the custom-designed mural that adorns the coffee bar at Relationships, along with a selection from her most recent rug collection.
